As a former nurse I've lovingly cared for seniors for many years, providing kind, compassionate & patient companionship, health, and personal care, including the care of individuals with dementia/Alzheimer's. I grew up in Mobile and have many ties to the Gulf Coast. I have a degree from the USA, am a non-smoker, with an excellent driving record, trained in CPR and comfortable with pets. Our family could not say enough great things about Kathleen. She was so good with our elderly father. She cared for him for about four months. He really felt like she was his 'buddy'. She was "his" Kathleen. He had cognitive challenges, was not trusting of strangers and really struggled with giving up his independence. Kathleen really helped him process through all of that.
