About Ava

Hi! I'm Ava, a compassionate and dependable caregiver with several years of experience working with seniors. I was the Activity coordinator at Somerby of Mobile for 2 years, where I worked closely with residents and gained hands-on experience in assisted living, dementia care, companionship, and senior activities. My mom works in hospice, and I've also assisted with hospice care. I'm comfortable handling a variety of situations and understand the importance of patience, kindness, dignity, and treating every person as an individual. I have extensive training in dementia and senior care, multiple references, and I'm CPR certified. I'm also happy to complete any additional certifications or training you prefer. I truly love working with seniors and have so much respect for their lives, experiences, and stories. I would care for your loved one with the same compassion and respect I'd want for my own family.
