About Kathleen

If I could give Kat 1000/10, I absolutely would. Kat has been our nanny for the past five years, and she has been such a loving, steady, and trusted presence in our family. She started caring for our son when he was just three months old, supported him through his early years and transition into school, and then cared for our daughter from four months old through toddlerhood. Kat has deep experience with newborns and young children, and she brings so much calm, patience, warmth, and confidence to those early stages. Any family welcoming a new baby would be incredibly lucky to have her care. Kat is incredible with the kids and with us. She emulates our parenting style, follows our routines, understands everything it takes to watch a newborn then going into toddlerhood. She sings songs and does activities with the kids, she reads to them, she follows their leads on their interests. Kat understands how unique are children are from each other and gives them unconditional love. Our kids adore her. They love their little routines with her like making oatmeal every morning for breakfast, playing games, going on little field trips to the parks and zoos. Kat even went above and beyond when our youngest was 1-2 years old (right after Covid) and found a nanny group with other kids his age, so he had a better opportunity to play and interact with kids his age. We had expressed him wanting to be able to play with other kids his age without doing daycare, and she found this amazing meet up group. They did field trips and fun age-appropriate activities all throughout Jacksonville. Some of those relationships are still friends our son has to this day. We cannot say enough good things about Kat. At this point, she’s part of our family, and any child and family would be lucky to have her in theirs!
