About Kathleen

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to work with children. As a certified speech-language pathologist for 13 years and a mom to two wonderful children, I bring 17 years of experience to childcare including babysitting services, including to neurodivergent children, since I was an undergraduate. My personality is fun, creative, and flexible. I prioritize safety, sensory needs, and physical well-being. I follow the parents' lead on household rules and communication preferences. I enjoy creating educational fun based on each child's interests. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children aged 0-12+, and I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have a graduate degree, First Aid Training, CPR Training, and Early Child Development Coursework. I am eager to bring my experience and passion to your family, creating a nurturing and engaging environment where your children can thrive.
