My father passed away 5 years ago, dearly missed. My mother took care of him with the help of us three girls. He loved his girls and we loved him right back especially the last four years of his life , he suffered from Alzheimer's dementia and Parkinson's. It was a sad time but a special time because we were around so much more to help my mom. We noticed he actually became more vulnerable not just in the physical form, but his personality became sweeter. I've been in the beauty business my whole life and I have dealt with a lot of elderly women , they do still like to look pretty. I love older people because there's nothing you can say to them that will surprise them because they have pretty much seen and heard it all, but I do like my stories from them. I was a cheerleader in high school and I have maintained that personality and always have a smile on my face because more than anything, They really need that.
