About Katherine

For over 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their potential and achieve academic success. I hold a graduate degree and create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. By actively listening and observing, I adapt my teaching methods to each student's individual learning style. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems to build momentum. Communication builds trust, so I provide regular updates to keep parents informed. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable with pets, have a car, and would love to help your student thrive in English, test preparation, foreign language, music & drama, or study skills at the elementary through college levels.
