I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support. For the past 25 years, I have been working with students from elementary school through college in subjects like math, English, science, and history. I hold a graduate degree and believe in fostering a love for learning by building confidence and empowering students to develop critical thinking skills. I assess individual learning styles through active listening, observation, and open communication, including regular check-ins. I keep students motivated by celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding aspect of being a tutor. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at your home, online, or in the community.
