About Katelyn

Helping students build confidence and achieve academic success is my passion. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance (Violin) and have completed extensive pre-professional nursing coursework, including biology, anatomy, physiology, and other health sciences. This diverse background allows me to tutor Music, Science, English, and study skills for students from elementary school through early college. I try to tailor each lesson to the student's individual learning style, using a combination of visual, hands-on, oral, and practical teaching methods to make challenging concepts easier to understand. I am experienced working with students of diverse learning needs and strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to succeed. My goal is not only to improve grades but to help students develop lifelong learning skills and confidence in their abilities.
