About Katherine

I am a certified teacher with 6 years of experience in special education and individualized learning support. I have a Master's degree in Special Education with an Autism Certificate and love helping students build confidence while making learning fun and engaging! I have experience supporting students in reading, writing, phonics, math, executive functioning, and social-emotional skills across a variety of learning styles and abilities. I truly believe learning should feel encouraging and personalized, and I love finding creative ways to help students succeed. Outside of tutoring, I love arts and crafts, being outdoors, beach days, Taylor Swift, and spending time with my pug, Zoey! I strive to create a warm, patient, and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and growing their confidence!
