About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a dedicated educator with experience supporting students of different ages, learning styles, and academic needs. I have a background in elementary and special education, and I enjoy helping students build confidence while strengthening their skills in reading, writing, math, and overall school readiness. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive, engaging, and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing as learners. I am passionate about helping each student succeed and making learning feel positive and meaningful. My skills include patience, communication, and adaptability. I am patient when students need extra time or repeated practice, and I communicate in a clear and supportive way.
