About Katherine

Hola future families! My name is Katy, I'm originally from Connecticut, and I now live in Lodi, NJ. As the oldest in my family, I spent a lot of time caring for my younger sister and cousins throughout high school. I took my natural caretaking skills and decided to spend six years in the Dominican Republic as a volunteer working with children of greater need. After moving back to the states, I became a virtual English teacher to students in China, and an in person Spanish teacher for local English students. I I have a degree in graphic design, but I'm currently looking to return to working with children, which has always been the most meaningful work for me. I'm hoping to find a family I can support long-term and grow with. I also offer light housekeeping, cooking, pet care (I have a dog named Luna and love all kinds of pets!) errands, pickups and drop offs, and of course, tutoring! Thank you so much for your interest!
