About Katherine

I just recently moved back to Portland, Maine, after living in Billings, Montana for the last year. In Montana, I worked as a remote 3rd grade teacher. Prior to living in Montana, I lived in Vermont, where I worked for a family as their full-time nanny for almost 2. 5 years. I was certainly sad to leave, but thankfully still get to spend weekends with those kiddos now that I'm back in New England. I graduated in 2017 from the University of Maine at Farmington with a degree in Elementary Education. I have worked with children as infants, all the way up to middle school. I completed a series of teaching semesters within my college program, and right after graduating I worked at an early intervention center in Maine. This job was very transformative for me, and I learned so much about behavior and development in children. I am very excited to continue to work with kids and am hopeful of new opportunities that come my way in a new place. I look forward to hearing from you!
