Hello! I am very interested in discussing your need for a caregiver. In 2014, I lost my beloved father. During his last year, I spent "Dad Fridays" with him. He had mild dementia and he had to retire from teaching at Harcum due to memory loss. Basically, we took walks, went to bookstores, discussed all kinds of things, had lunch, transported him to his appointments and just hung out! It seems that I have always had a heart for seniors and impaired folks. My 23-year-old son has Asperger's, so I am quite familiar with the challenges and rewards of advocating and care-giving. For several years, I took care of an elderly women who was in a wheel chair. I visited with her, dressed her leg wound, ran errands, shopped and transported her to her door appointments. Plus, we enjoyed conversing. I am upbeat, positive, respectful, reliable and looking for a care-giving job with someone who also needs companionship! Native to Merion Golf Manor. Katherine helped my mom following a hip surgery. She helped with meal prep, light housekeeping, bathing, dressing, laundry and companionship. She was always punctual and pleasant. She looked for extra things to do around house to fill down time. We are working with her again soon following another surgery. We would recommend Katherine!
