About Katherine

Hi, my name is Katie! I'm looking to a be a part of a collaborative team of caregivers, that can help things run smoothly day to day, while bringing a sense of joy and calm. I started working with kids in my teens and over the years have worked in both Montessori and Waldorf early education classrooms, as well as nannied for 6+ families. I am also a mom to two young adults! I strive to be flexible. I am good at going with the flow and bring a calm and grounded energy to my work. My skills include helping children to recognize and regulate their emotions, while doing my best to maintain a safe and calm atmosphere. I am playful and patient with children. I like working with kids because it feels very meaningful to me to be a part of their growth, learning, and development. I appreciate their innate capacity to love and be loved. I love how full of wonder children are and how every child is truly unique.
