About Katherine

Katherine is truly the best nanny we could have ever dreamed of having. She brings the wisdom and intuition of a mom, anticipating and preventing problems before they happen and always staying one step ahead. She is incredibly in tune with our children’s emotions, knows exactly how to redirect and guide them, and gently teaches them how to manage big feelings. She is full of genuine love and kindness, and that goodness naturally shines through in the way she cares for our kids. It’s clear she truly loves what she does. This isn’t just a job for her, it brings her real joy. My husband works from home, and Katherine is exceptional at setting respectful boundaries so he can stay fully focused during the workday, even though the kids adore him and always want his attention. She creates such a fun and engaging environment for them that they are happy, busy, and thriving. She is incredibly active and loves getting the kids outside, and she is always thinking of creative crafts and enriching activities. The best part is she does all of this on her own without ever needing direction. She takes initiative in every aspect of her role. She is never idle and is always helping keep the home tidy while still giving the kids her full, undivided attention. She respects our routines and values, especially around healthy living, instinctively offering nourishing options like smoothies packed with greens instead of defaulting to less healthy snacks. She just gets it. Her work ethic, heart, and intuition are unmatched. I truly would not have made it through my residency without her. We even tried to convince her to move with us, but she has built a beautiful life in Richmond. Whoever is lucky enough to have Katherine as their nanny will be incredibly fortunate.
