About Katherine

Hi, my name is Katie and I have been helping families provide care for their loved ones of all ages for over 40 years. For more than seven years, I worked in an adult care home specializing in memory care, supporting older adults with patience, dignity, and compassion. I have a calm, reassuring presence and am especially skilled at gently de-escalating agitation, helping clients feel safe and comfortable. I'm an excellent cook and can prepare meals for specialized diets, including dysphagia. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping. I enjoy sharing activities like crosswords, mystery shows, gardening, embroidery, singing classic songs, reading aloud, and simple crafts. Families describe me as reliable, perceptive, and attentive. My goal is to help older adults maintain their dignity and quality of life while giving loved ones confidence they're in caring, capable hands.
