About Katherine
Experience: 10 yrs
Bonjour! I'm an experienced French and ESL tutor with a graduate degree in TESL, an MBA, and 7 years of university-level ESL teaching experience. I taught ESL to graduate students in business and engineering schools in France and university students in Virginia. I've also taught Business English to professionals at international corporations and worked as an IELTS examiner. I lived in France for 8 years and Quebec for 2 years. I also own a French horse-export business, so I use French regularly with clients, trainers, breeders, and sellers. I have a strong understanding of French language, culture, and everyday communication. Since 2017, I've tutored children, teens, university students, and adults. I use my knowledge of language acquisition to tailor lessons to each student's level and goals. I tutor French and ESL from beginner to advanced, including conversation, grammar, pronunciation, schoolwork, academic and professional English, and IELTS preparation.
