About Jonathan

Hi, I'm Jonathan! I studied biology at UC Davis and graduated in 2025. I now live in the Del Mar area and work as an EMT while I prepare to start medical school in fall 2027. I have 3+ years of tutoring experience across math, science, English, and test prep, from elementary to college courses. Most of my experience is with high school and college level math and science. I have also spent multiple years as a 1-on-1 aid for special needs students in the middle school setting. We will break hard concepts into small, manageable steps and use what the student does understand as foundation for the harder ideas. I pay attention to how each student handles new material and adjust my approach to fit how they learn best. I also keep communication open with students and parents so we're always working towards the same goals. I can meet at your home, a library, or online over zoom.
