About Katherine

Hello, I'm Kat! I am based in Westport, CT, and have over 7 years of experience caring for children in a variety of settings. As a young mom myself, I bring not only professional experience but also personal insight into supporting children's needs with patience, creativity, and care. My background includes teaching and mentoring in traditional classrooms as well as engaging with children through non-traditional learning styles. I recently graduated from Gettysburg College with a B. A. in Education Policy and Sociology, with a focus on childhood and adolescent socialization. I love working closely with kids and their families--whether that means helping with learning, daily routines, or doing the dishes once the kids are in bed!
