About Katherine

Hello! I'm a grad student who's looking for a bit of extra work during school. I'm studying clinical psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent development. Before transitioning into psychology, I was a music teacher for 6 years in both public schools and the local nonprofit Music for Everyone. I specialized in teaching music in special education settings, including settings for children with behavioral and emotional disabilities. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, as well as extensive training in child psychology, autism support, mental health crisis prevention and intervention, and first aid. I would be comfortable working with multiple children at the same time, including children with high needs. I also speak basic Spanish, y quiero practicar más!
