About Mya

I have long held a deep passion for working with children. Since 2017, I have babysat for families & friends while continuing to grow my knowledge of child development. I am currently studying at HACC to earn my associate's degree in Human Services & have experience supporting children with a variety of care needs, especially those on the autism spectrum. After graduating high school in 2021, I volunteered at Covenant Child Care, a private owned daycare, before being hired as a part-time floater, where I work with children from infancy through pre-K. In 2023, I earned my RBT certification at Swank Early Skills Development, gaining data collection & analysis skills. I provided behavioral support in home and school settings. I also work at Aaron's Acres, providing one-on-one support for individuals with special needs, gaining skills in behavior descalation. I'm excited to bring my unique experience and care into a more home-based nanny role. I look forward to meeting you & your family!
