About Katherine

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a positive, responsible, and patient person who loves working with kids. I'm 24 years old and live in Salem, Or. I recently graduated from SOU in Ashland, Oregon, with a bachelor's degree in Health and Exercise Science major. I'm attending PU in the fall, where I will get my doctorate in Occupational Therapy, specializing in pediatrics! I have extensive experience caring for children. While in college, I worked as a nanny for 2. 5 years, caring for children of various ages from babies to 10-year-olds. Before that, I had six years of babysitting experience, starting at age 16. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am energetic and love coming up with fun activities to do with children. I feel as it is so important for children to be seen and heard.
