Hi I'm Katie! I have been working with people with special needs for the past 5 years through babysitting (which I've been doing for 9 years), through my churches special needs ministry which is for kids of all ages, and the buddies program at my college for teens/adults! I've worked with people who have various special needs of basically all ages. I'm Red Cross certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Some activities I love doing are playing sports/games, doing crafts, reading books, and playing outside! I'm down to do whatever they're interested in! I have a car and can drive to activities, the pool, park, library, etc. I have one more semester at the University of Richmond getting a degree in psychology and history then I'll get a masters in clinical social work! In my free time like to I spend time with my dog, ice skate, and play guitar and bass! For the summer, I'm just looking for a part time job!
