About Katherine

Hi there! My name is Katherine and I've been working with children for many years. I babysat all through high school, for children whose ages raged from 1yr old to 10 yrs old. In college, I worked for a nonprofit called Kesem, which serves kids whose parents have been affected by a parent's cancer. I served as a counselor for several age groups (including 6-7, 8-10, 11-12), and was a unit leader for 2 years. My senior year, I was the director for Indiana University's chapter, where I led operations for 2 weeks of summer camp (~250 campers) and year round support. I was CPR certified twice for Kesem, and have completed several trainings for grief and mental health support. I now work as a Product Designer for a tech company, so I am open to help after work and/or on weekends! Happy to schedule a call if that would be helpful :)
