About Katherine

Hi! I'm a patient and engaging tutor and a certified Texas teacher (Core Subjects EC-6 and Special Education EC-12). I have experience supporting students from preschool through 5th grade in reading, phonics, fluency, comprehension, writing, grammar, and elementary math. I also help with homework routines, study skills, and building academic confidence. I have worked with students with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning delays, and behavioral needs, and I adapt lessons to fit each child's learning style. My teaching approach is positive, playful, and encouraging-I make learning fun while helping students feel successful. I build strong connections with students and tailor each session to their needs. Before teaching, I also worked as a nanny and tutor, giving me years of experience supporting children both academically and personally. I am available for remote tutoring and would love to support your child's growth and learning!
