About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I am so excited to be your student's new tutor. I am a recent University of North Texas Graduate currently substitute teaching in Argyle ISD. I am certified not only in Elementary Education but Special Education as well, meaning I am an expert in the specialized instruction tutoring entails. I am passionate about making education accessible and engaging to all children, as well as creating a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. I'm currently available weekends and after-school everyday to help further your students academic success. I have skills in lesson planning, scaffolded instruction, adaptability, communication, and motivating students. I also pride myself on my ability to keep a positive and encouraging attitude that is sure to help your student find the joy in learning!
