About Katharine

I have extensive teaching and babysitting experience. In 2012 I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology with concentrations in counseling and development. Since then, I have been teaching in childcare settings. I spent two years teaching at a private preschool in a suburb outside of Boston. I helped children develop literacy and writing skills as well as social-emotional skills such as toilet training. In addition, I have infant and toddler experience. I have worked with toddlers between the ages of 14 months to 2. 9 years. I taught children color recognition, developing relationships with peers and teachers, as well as self-help skills. I recently completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education, and I currently teach first grade in the Boston area. I am available full-time on school breaks and over the summer. During the school year I have weekend availability.
