Hello! My name is Katelyn. I have a BA in Education. I have been babysitting since I was 13, and have been working with children for over 15+ years. I have worked at the Issaquah School District's BASC program from 2014 to 2021. I have experience babysitting and nannying infants, children with disabilities, as well as working with foster children. I am also certified to watch children in the water. I have worked for the Issaquah School District, Lakeside Montessori, as a private Aide for a foster care child, and most recently a full time nanny!

Katelyn is extremely reliable, punctual, and great with kids!  She communicates very well, and I always feel comfortable leaving my toddler with her.

We are so lucky to have found Katelyn for a babysitter. She is knowledgeable about children, confident, and caring. Both our kids, ages 8 months and 6.5 years, are comfortable with her. She is able to balance the needs of kids at different ages.

Katelynn has been nannying for us for about a month now and she has been absolutely wonderful to work with! She is reliable, experienced and my kids took to her right away. She walks my older child to school, then cares for my infant while I work from home. She also helps with little things around the house which is a huge help for me to keep things running smoothly. Another thing I appreciate is that she communicates ahead of time about scheduling and works with me about my preferences in regards to masking and illness. I don't know what I'd do without her!

Katelyn has made a huge difference in our lives.  My husband and I both work from home and were struggling to keep up with everything due to demanding jobs.  Katelyn most importantly has been great with our daughter.  Taking her to activities, helping with homework, playing games, getting her from school and more.  Our daughter loves her.  On top of that she has organized several areas of our house, cleaned out the pantry etc.  She keeps our house clean and even preps meals.  She is on time, responsive, responsible and self motivated.  She deals with our dogs that are rude and bark at her very well too.  Our whole family is grateful we found her!

Katelyn is punctual, reliable and an excellent communicator. My kiddos have special needs and require some additional TLC. Katelyn has been a wonderful caretaker to our children and has become part of our family. My kids love Miss Katelyn. They enjoy their time with her. I have a craft pack of activities I put away for Miss Katelyn's arrival. My kids associate that special time with her.

Katelyn is great. Great communication and punctual. She's great with kids, our daughters enjoy her.

Katelyn has been working with our son in hour long tutoring sessions and my son responds to her guidance very well!

Katelyn has been fantastic with our 7 month old baby and our 18 month old Australian Shepherd - it is not easy juggling the baby with a dog that also wants your attention and she has done a great job managing the two of them! She is quick to assess the baby's needs and is calm and confident in handling any time he is fussy. She does a great job playing with and engaging him in different things. We are lucky to have Katelyn around!

We appreciate the quick response to our spontaneous need to go out on date night. In addition Katelyn was very accommodating when we extended initially agreed upon time. More importantly, was great with our two toddlers who enjoyed playing with her and would play with her again. Liked the fact that she took pictures of their fun time that she shared after with us.

Katelyn is a wonderful babysitter (and kid sitter, as my 4yo daughter says). We've hired her numerous times to watch our daughter and our friends' two boys, and she has always done a wonderful job with them. We've also had her pet sit for us, and she was great with our furry family members too.

Katelyn is that rare young adult who is responsible, honest, kind and compassionate.  She takes wonderful care of our cats when we're away and she's great with our daughter too. We feel fortunate to know her. Highly recommend!

Katelyn has a way with children which far surpasses that of other babysitters her age. She is able to understand them and work with them in a very special way and my children simply adore her. She is reliable, kind and great with kids and animals alike. I can not recommend her highly enough.
