About Katelyn

My name is Katelyn, I'm 27, and I have over 3 years of experience working with children with disabilities and special needs! I value each opportunity to help children feel confident in who they are and grow into their personalities. I have experience with toddler and kindergarten ages, and am comfortable in homes with pets. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have a clean driving record. I'd describe my personality as caring, calm, and patient. I like working with kids because every kid is so unique and it's so fun getting to know them and see them grow. I started working with kids in special education classrooms in 2022 and became certified as an RBT in 2023 where I have worked with children with autism and developmental disabilities for the last 3 years. In my spare time, I like to read and play animal crossing. One thing you should know about me is I value a child-led approach and try to learn as much from the child as possible.
