About Katelyn

My name is Katelyn I am a 22yr old college student and my major is LVN Nursing. Some background on myself I have Dyslexia, if you don't know its a learning setback that makes me see some words and letters differently. So sometimes I struggle with reading and writing. In school I had lots of trouble keeping up with the other kids in my class and in 6th grade I was reading at 4th grade level which was devastating. In my academic career I had to find help because my parents and teachers would never sit with me and actually help me get my work done right. it wasn't until 10th grade I got my IEP and I was actually able to learn as fast as the other kids in my class. My goal is to make a difference and give kids the help they need and make learning fun! Being able to succeed is the best core memory of a child lf.
