About Shayanne

Hi! I'm an elementary school teacher with experience teaching in both Montessori and public school classrooms. I've taught 1st-4th grade and have worked in childcare for over 10 years, so I've had the opportunity to work with children of many different ages, personalities, and learning styles. I'm passionate about helping kids feel confident and supported in their learning. I have experience working with students who have IEPs and 504 plans, and I believe every child learns differently. My goal is to create a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. Whether your child needs help with reading, writing, math, homework, or building confidence in school, I'd love to help make learning feel less stressful and more enjoyable!
