About Katelyn

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, excitable, and patient. I'm looking for a job where I feel satisfied in the work that I'm doing. With a job like babysitting or tutoring it's easy to achieve that. If a child has learned something by the time I leave, I'm satisfied. If they haven't then I'll patiently try again until they understand. I started working with kids during the summer between 8th and 9th grade. I was a teen volunteer at the McWane Center where I helped aid the summer camp classrooms. From there I have been an LIT, CIT, and Junior Counselor at YMCA Camp Cosby, as well as active with the Helena Belles where I participated with the summer programs at Helena Elementary and Intermediate Schools. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, read books, cook, bake, craft, and much more. I love to be outside and I like to be active and off my phone as much as possible and I try to encourage the children I sit for to do the same.
