About Katelyn

Hi! I'm a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education and English instruction. I am currently enrolled in my Master of Education in Elementary Education and have several years of classroom experience supporting diverse learners through engaging, student-centered instruction. I specialize in reading, writing, and foundational academic skills, and I tailor each tutoring session to meet individual student needs. As a former classroom teacher, team lead, mentor teacher, I bring both structure and creativity into my tutoring approach. I focus on building confidence, strengthening critical thinking, and helping students truly understand-not just memorize-content. My goal as a tutor is to create a warm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and growing academically. I believe learning should be meaningful, engaging, and empowering-and I love helping students discover their potential.
