I have been been working I special education for the last 2+ years. Majority of my time has been spent in a self contained special education classroom for 3rd-5th graders. I work with students with moderate-severe autism, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, and physical disabilities. I have training in Right Responce, behavioral plans, as well as work with nonverbal students that use AAC devices and PECS, I also have exposure to ABA therapy. I am currently going to school online to be special education teacher so I am very invested and dedicated to children with any kinds of disabilities or delays. I am able to easily build up rapport with these children to set up a successful and positive environment
