About Kate

Hi! My name is Katelyn, and caring for others has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping my grandmother, who ran a licensed home daycare, where I assisted with caring for up to 12 children after school and during summers. Through this experience, I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, safety, and creating a nurturing environment where children feel supported and cared for. In addition to childcare, I also have experience as a family caregiver. As my abuelita got older, I helped care for her by supervising her, assisting with light household duties, and providing companionship and support. This taught me compassion, attentiveness, and how to create a nurturing environment. I am dependable, caring, and attentive, and I take pride in creating a safe, positive, and supportive environment.
