About Kate

Hi! I'm a licensed elementary education teacher with experience teaching upper elementary, as well as working in special education and English as a Second Language programs. I hold a Master's degree in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). I provide individualized summer tutoring for elementary students that blends academic skill-building with social-emotional support. My sessions focus not only on reading, writing, and math, but also on confidence-building, emotional regulation, organization, and positive learning habits. I have experience supporting students with IEPs, learning differences, anxiety around school, and language development needs. Lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each child's learning style, with a strong emphasis on helping students feel successful and motivated. I am available for consistent weekly sessions and offer both in-person and online options. I am based in Danvers but am open to traveling up to 20 miles for servicing.
