About Kate

I'd describe my personality as easy going, adventurous, and nurturing :) I like working with kids because I love getting to experience life through their eyes and how easily the simplest things can bring them so much joy. I love watching the wheels turning in their heads when they start to understand a new concept. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I had my first job at a daycare when I was 16 and continued until now! I studied early childhood and elementary education and school and have babysat for so many families throughout the years. In my spare time, I like to work in my garden, try new restaurants, explore and find new places to visit and vacation. I love animals and used to work at a farm-based preschool program!
