About Kate

Hi! I'm Kate! I'm a calm, patient, and caring person who really enjoys being around kids. I help with children's ministry at my church, where I teach kids about the Bible, help with activities, and make lessons fun and easy to understand. I also worked for several years at a ranch that hosted camps for foster and high-trauma children, so I have a lot of experience being around and caring for kids from different backgrounds. I'm the oldest of three siblings, so I've been helping with kids for most of my life! I enjoy crafts, games, being outside, animals, and helping with homework. I'm very easygoing, but understand boundaries and routines. I'd love to find a family that I can get to know and be someone they can trust! In my spare time, I like to crochet and knit, play video games, and bake! My skills include being patient and calm to make children feel safe, coming up with fun crafts or activities, and I pay good attention to detail when it comes to children's safety.
