About Kate

I am a recent college graduate and I have been working with kids since I was in middle school. I have moved back to California while I apply for masters of nursing, and I am looking to add some babysitting/nanny to my schedule. I started with babysitting for families around my town and from there transitioned to larger group child care. In high school I worked at an after school program for middle schoolers, leading games and helping with homework, at the local community center. I then began working for the summer program that the community center ran as well, however there I cared for around 45 elementary age children. I would take them on field trips, lead games and crafts as well as act as a lifeguard during their swim time. My most recent babysitting has been for a family in Boulder Colorado who I would pick up their middle and high schooler from school and take them to sports practices as well as helped them with their homework.
