About Kate

Hi everyone! I'm sadly leaving my current nanny position of three years in June and I'm putting feelers out for a new family (or families) to work with. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, 10 as a professional nanny in asheville. I started with babysitting and volunteer work, which continued through college while I studied child development, afterwards I landed in nannying, and have been absolutely loving it since! I have experience with children of all ages, newborn and up, including multiples! I use gentle, positive guidance, redirection, and correlated consequences to keep the little ones in my care safe and happy. One of my favorite things to do with kids is to just have fun outdoors, whether it be a trip to the park, a nature walk, or even playing in the backyard! I also love singing, reading, trips to the library, science and art experiences, trips to splash pad, and anything else the little ones enjoy.
