Welcome to my profile. I am Miss Jackie, a CPN, nanny who started off taking care of children at 12 years of age. I graduated from The English Nanny and Governess School in 1994. I was at the top of my class and secured my first nanny position in Lake Tahoe, CA. I then moved back to Ohio and was a nanny for 2 and half years for the owners of a fast food restaurant. I am CPR trained and First Aid certified. I am a mother, my child is 23, and I have a good sense, of being a parent. I am fair, honest, reliable and have transportation and excellent references. I love to be creative with children, do arts and crafts, sing and play music, enjoy visiting playgrounds, museums, and libraries. Jackie is absolutely amazing with my baby boy; her attentiveness to him is unmatched and he absolutely adores her! She is very responsive and accommodating to his changes in routine. Would highly recommend to any family and definitely will hire again, she is one of the best.

Over the past 9 months, “Ms. Jackie” has been a reliable and attentive nanny to our two children. Her ability to manage daily tasks such as school pickups, along with keeping the kids’ spaces tidy and preparing their meals, has been a great help to our family.

Jackie has shown genuine care for our children, engaging with them through stories and actively participating in their after-school activities like gymnastics and soccer practice. Her encouragement and support at these events did not go unnoticed, and her thoughtful gestures, like organizing small gifts for the coaches, were much appreciated.

As our family’s needs have evolved, we’ve made the difficult decision to move on from having a nanny. We are thankful for Jackie’s contributions to our household and believe her dedication and caring nature will serve her well in future roles. We wish her all the best in her next position and are confident she will continue to be a positive influence on the lives of the children she cares for.

We hired Jacquelyn for a date night for our daughter who had just turned 7 months old. This was our first time hiring someone to care for our child outside of our family and she put our minds at ease, kept us updated via text throughout the night, and did great caring for our daughter.

Miss Jackie watched our 4 year old son during a date night.  She had strong communication with me.  She was on time and also brought books, toys, and games to play with my son to minimize screen time.  She also had my son asleep before we came home.  :) 
The next day when I asked my son if he had fun he enthusiastically said yes and wanted to play with Miss Jackie again.
For me reviews help a lot when picking childcare on care.com.  If you are unsure of who to hire I give my highest recommendation to Miss Jackie.

Miss Jackie watched our two small children for about 6 months. Our kids loved her -- she is full of energy and never ran out of activities to do with the kids. It was very sweet to see the bond that formed between the kids and her. Miss Jackie also was very helpful with chores around the house when the kids were napping; she took care of the house like it was her own. There were some issues in her personal life toward the end of her tenure with us (she ended up needing to move away as a result otherwise we would have continued with her) but she was transparent and professional about any challenges that came up as a result.

Jacyln at the end of working for our family left our family 3 weeks without care. Showed up one day either sleep deprived from taking a night job or hungover.  I saw it and my husband was very concerned and asked me what was wrong with her. Put our children at risk.  Sorry but I'm not buying her excuses. After I had to scramble to have childcare she threatens to come to my house for final payment when I didn't have a moment to even think. Anyone who has two working parents and kids knows how hard it's been for childcare. Then you find someone who you think will be dependable and they leave you high and dry. Make your own judgement but this was our unfortunate experience with Jacyln.

My husband and I had to work in San Diego for several days and wanted to bring our 8 year old daughter with us to see California.  Jackie was so amazing with her.  They had a meet and greet two days prior to the all day sitting appointment.  Our daughter was so excited to spend time with Jackie and hated to see her leave that night.  Over the course of 2 days they did numerous activities: art, sight seeing, the beach, toy store, petting zoo, ride scooters.  I was so impressed with how well she was able to keep up with my busy 8 year old!  We have definitely made a friend for life!  Hope to visit you again soon in sunny California Ms. Jackie!

Ms Jackie has been an occasional sitter for our infant and now toddler daughter over the past year. She is experienced, very responsive, and comes prepared!

Jackie helped us out with a last minute request. She was very organized and immediately made us feel comfortable to leave our 3 month old son with her. Would hire again!

Jacquelyn, or 'Miss Jackie' as we called her, nannied for my 5 month old son this summer. I can't say enough great things about her. She was wonderful with my son, from recommending developmentally appropriate toys for him to bringing him over books to read, she was the best. She took him all over Coronado, to the library for story time, and I had complete confidence in her abilities. During his naps she would straighten up the house, did his laundry without me asking ... and even washed my pump parts! Any new mom that is pumping will understand just how much I appreciated this!!! I would recommend Jackie for childcare for any age, but she was especially great with my infant, which can be very difficult to find! Thanks again for all you help this summer, Jackie!

Jacquelyn was great with the kids. she took care of our 3 kids ( 2 infants and 1 child) and our oldest enjoyed being around Jacquelyn. would definitely hire her again.

Jacquelyn was a great helper! She came prepared to distract my little one so she wont fear me leaving the house. My little one liked her from the start. Helped my little one to potty train. Kept me updated to see how my little one was doing. She is a great babysitter! Would hire her again.

My daughter enjoyed her company and stayed engaged the entire time. I would definitely rehire, she's great with kids and came prepared and ready to work.

Jacquelyn helped us last minute yesterday when our regular babysitter called in sick. I didn't have time to interview her beforehand, but when I spoke to her on the phone, I knew she would be great! She arrived on time (and even brought a ball for my son to play with!) which immediately soothed my nervous 1.5 year old.  She kept us updated throughout the evening, and kept a log/notes of all activities. I would highly recommend Jacquelyn!

We were fortunate to find Jackie to look after our 4 month old for 2 weeks before she started daycare. She was professional, reliable, full of energy and very friendly. Her experience was evident in how quickly she fell into rhythm with our daughter's routine. She took her on stroller walks, read books, played with her a lot, ensured she had her bottles on time and that she took good naps. My baby was comfortable with her right away. We will be sure to have her look after her again when we need the help!
