About Katarina

I'm passionate about fostering a supportive learning environment where students thrive. For the past four years, I've helped students from elementary through high school excel in subjects like Math, English, Science, and History. I also provide targeted Test Preparation and Study Skills support. I create engaging sessions that empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen and observe how students interact with new material. I also seek regular feedback through parental check-ins. By celebrating small successes and breaking down complex problems, I build momentum and keep students motivated. Open communication builds trust, allowing me to adapt my approach. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence is incredibly rewarding. I have a COLLEGE DEGREE and speak both English and Spanish. I am comfortable tutoring at various locations and have a car. I also hold certifications in CPR and First Aid.
