About Katarina

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. As a Certified teacher, I prioritize building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning over simple memorization. I assess each student's unique learning style through active listening and observation, tailoring my approach with visual aids, hands-on activities, or collaborative discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and connect lessons to real-world interests to keep momentum high. I believe clear, consistent communication with both students and parents creates a successful, collaborative environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master a new skill is the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet at your home, a local library, or a community center to help your child thrive. I look forward to supporting your family's academic journey and celebrating your student's progress together.
