About Sofia

Empowering students to reach their full potential drives my approach to education. With three years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I am American Tutoring Association certified and specialize in Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, and Study Skills for elementary through high school students. I assess your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, then adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize clear communication with both you and your parents to ensure a collaborative environment. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and watching you succeed.
