Hi there! I'm Kat and am eager to help students unlock their potential and actually enjoy learning! I graduated in 2019 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University but decided to switch my career into nursing. I'm currently finishing my prerequisites for nursing school and in the meantime, I'm looking to help struggling students achieve their goals! While I am new to tutoring professionally, I've spent years helping my peers achieve academic success and believe every student can thrive with personalized support. I adapt my teaching by varying strategies and encourage open communication to discover what works best. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests, celebrating small wins, and breaking down complex problems. I would say the most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence grow and would love to help your child reach their goals!
