About Karyn

Hi! I'm Karyn, a caring, patient, and energetic childcare professional with a B. A. in Psychology. I'm passionate about prevention science and helping children build strong foundations through early support, positive relationships, and play. As a lead teacher for2-year-olds at a daycare, I support daily routines, plan engaging activities, and help children develop early learning and social-emotional skills. I also spent two years with City Year, a nonprofit organization, providing academic interventions and social-emotional learning (SEL) support in schools. I especially enjoy working with toddlers and younger children, but I'm also open to caring for older kids! I love incorporating stories, music, crafts, and creative play into each day while helping children feel safe, valued, and encouraged. I'm pediatric CPR and First Aid certified and would love to provide dependable, nurturing care for your family!
