About Karsyn

Hello! I am a certified snow sports instructor, children's skate camp coach, and aunt of two little girls! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, and open minded. I like working with kids for many reasons. When teaching kids to skate, ski, or snowboard I've really enjoyed building trust through games and conversation. Getting to know each individual kid and their motivations, and using that to help them have fun and feel comfortable is always rewarding. Being a fun and safe space for my nieces has brought me so much joy. Whether I am just a shoulder to cry on, the one helping them change into their third princess outfit of the day, reading them to sleep, or the one teaching them a new sport or card game, it's never a dull moment! In my spare time, I like to ride bikes, play tennis/pickleball, snowboard, play volleyball, do crafts, and be in nature. I also love game nights with my family and friends. You can always expect me to have a deck of cards in my pocket!
