About Karleen

Hello! My name is Karleen , and I'm a recent UCSD graduate with a B. S. in Human Biology. I'm aspiring to become an optometrist so I am working on that currently. I love working with kids and have experience with school-aged children. I volunteered at Stella Maris Academy in San Diego, where I helped lead arts and crafts, assisted with Spanish lessons, and supported teachers during recess duty. I'm CPR/BLS certified through the American Heart Association and have a strong interest in healthcare as I work toward becoming an optometrist. Outside of academics, I've been playing piano for 15 years and enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I'm happy to help with activities, homework, and keeping kids engaged and having fun. I'm reliable, patient, and excited to support families who need an extra hand.
