About Karla

Hi! My name is Karla, and I'm currently in my last year of college studying Elementary Education at Park University. I have 2 years of experience working with children ages 1-8, and working with kids is something I truly enjoy and am passionate about. I chose to work with children because I love being able to make a positive impact in their lives. I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality, interests, and needs, and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. My education has also given me a strong understanding of child development and different ways to support children as they learn and grow. I am CPR certified and bilingual in English and Spanish. I'm caring, patient, responsible, and always aim to make children feel comfortable and cared for.
