About Karla

I enjoy working with kids because I love being a positive influence in their lives and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. I'm looking for a job where I can build strong, trusting relationships with both children and families while continuing to develop my skills in childcare. I started working with kids a few years ago through babysitting, working in a daycare, and helping out in family and community settings. Now, in college, I work in an after-school program where I help kids get additional support with their learning. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each child's needs. I bring a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and organized in different situations. My past experiences have helped me understand how to create a supportive and engaging environment where kids feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.
